Do you think some people achieve easily, or do you agree with Lombardi that "the only place success comes before work is in the dictionary"?
If you are a follower of this blog then you likely have some clue as to my answer to this question. I think that those who seem to achieve success easily are simply better at concealing how hard they work. Hard work is what creates long term success, I don't think it can be achieved with out it, however I think that for some of us what we are willing to work that hard to achieve are things that we deeply love, that feed us in ways other than the outward accolades that may come from success. When you are doing that which feeds your soul it is easier to dedicate time and energy to it.
It doesn't mean one won't be tired or even exhausted at times but it does mean that one understands the worth of the sacrifices that are made. Perhaps with that understanding comes the willingness to make the sacrifice of time and energy needed to create something greater. In fact it may not be seen as a sacrifice at all but simply one more ingredient in the recipe of success.
